Do you want to navigate more closely to history? Then museums are a wonderful place to be.
This is a small website to show you a little about an emerging museum professional. I am a northern Virginia native who works with local museums in northern Virginia. During the academic year, I learn from local museums and scholars near my graduate studies at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. The majority of my personal research interests focus on Colonial through Early Republic Virginia history; however, you will find I focus as far as the 20th century.
During the summer of 2026, I am learning from museum professionals at two different locations in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. The first internship will be to shadow the archaeology collections manager and learn how to develop a scope of work for a collection at Alexandria Archaeology Museum, located in the Torpedo Factory. My second internship will combine research interests and first time experiences serving in a historic house named Lee-Fendall House Museum and Garden.
The other pages in this website include a little about myself and a continuously updated blog about my experiences with Lee-Fendall House and Alexandria Archaeology Museum. Stay tuned! (Just no telegraphs!)
